Auto Shutdown - Introduction

Auto Shutdown module allows you to easily schedule your computer for log off, power off, stand by, hibernate, or shutdown at a special time.
 
Usage
 
Run WinUtilities and select the "System Control" category. Then, click the "WinUtilities Auto Shutdown".
 
The next window shows Options dialog. you can select an action, set the timer, or optionally enter your password to cancel the auto shutdown process.
 
Click OK to run the auto shutdown process and then WinUtilites Auto Shutdown module will add an icon in your system tray to indicate its status.
 
To Cancel The Auto Shutdown process
  • Right-click the system tray icon and select 'Cancel' command from the popup context-menu.
  • If you have entered a password for the auto shutdown process, you need to enter your password to cancel the auto shutdown process.
To run Auto Shutdown process at a special date or time:
  1. Run WinUtilities Task Scheduler module
  2. Click 'Add Task' button
  3. Enter the task name and select an action (shutdown, power off, log off, hibernate computer, etc)
  4. Click OK to create a schedule
  5. Select 'Schedule' tab
  6. Click 'New'
  7. Set the date or time
  8. Click 'OK'
